Amazing Blueberry Bread and Sauce

Blueberry Bread

1 cup butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
5 cups all-purpose flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
4 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen (thawed and patted dry)

Heat oven to 350.
Grease two 9x5 loaf pans.

Cream butter with sugar in large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Add to egg mixture alternately with milk. Stir in blueberries gently, making sure not to bust. Bake about  1 hour and 15 minutes or until tests done. Cool in pans. Store in frig or freezer up to 1 month.

Blueberry 'N' Spice Sauce

1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2-2/3 cup hot water (I used the whole 2/3 cup)
2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)

In small sauce pan combine first four ingredients; gradually stir in water. Cook over medium low heat until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Add blueberries and continue stirring until sauce comes back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Serve warm over ice cream or cake.

I figured why not start the new blog with a great recipe! It is amazing and super easy! I got it from Mrs. Charlotte and I'm passing it on to you! Enjoy! :)
